Dr. Cindy Phuong Nguyen

"Perhaps the eyes are the windows to our soul, but I'm positive that they are the reflection to our health & physical wellness."  Dr. Cindy Nguyen is a genuine, caring and passionate Doctor of Optometry who loves what she does by providing patient’s clear vision and detecting health conditions by thoroughly examining patient's eyes.  Dr. Nguyen believes in a personalized eye examination because each person has their own unique history, hence requiring different levels of eye care.

Dr. Nguyen started her academic training at San Jose State University where she graduated with Cum Laude for the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry.  With her passion in Optometry, Dr. Nguyen gained a spot in the national Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa, and obtained the Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University College of Optometry as part of the Inaugural Class of 2013.  Dr. Nguyen practices full scope of optometry including comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fitting, diagnosis treatment and management of ocular diseases and systemic related eye conditions.  Dr. Nguyen is glaucoma certified and is well versed with the latest optometric technologies that are offered here at Eye Focus Optometry.

Dr. Nguyen has participated in many community service projects and often volunteered in the local vision outreach programs such as the Gift for Sight and the Vision Van.  Her goal is to reach out to the less fortunate and help others within the scope of her optometric vision training.  In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys outdoor activities and freestyle ballroom dancing.  She also loves to create projects using her hands such as scrapbooking or painting.

Office Manager - Rhonda Ho

Like most first generation Asian Americans, Rhonda’s parents pressured her to take a career in the medical field. That being so, she graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Rhonda is also a certified clinical medical assistant. After acquiring some much needed work experience she found out she has quite the proficiency for management. Whether it’s staff scheduling or dealing with health insurances, she can do it all! All this hard work is to fund her hobbies such as, food tourism, traveling the world, and bubble tea! Rhonda also has a pet dog at home, whom she spoils to no end. Her long term goal is to be a domestic engineer to multiple dogs. All jokes aside she hopes to further her career as a manager in the medical field.

Anh Nguyen

Anh has found her passion in the medical field after working with Dr. Cindy Nguyen, Dr. My Diep and the Eye Focus team. She believes the greatest wealth is health.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and strives to deliver the best health care for her future patients. Anh's biggest motivation, which is also her favorite quote from Gabrielle Bernstein, is to “Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your profession.” Anh is always eager to help patients with any questions or concerns as she prioritizes patient’s satisfaction and understanding of their own health.  In her free time, Anh enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and coworkers.

Diana Nguyen

"Another day, another slay", as Diana would motivate herself each day. Raised in San Jose, California, Diana currently attends Silver Creek High School. She's delighted to join the team to learn and grow to be an optometrist in the future. Strengths that Diana carries include her determination and grit to finish tasks handed to her efficiently. If one would inquire why she chose optometry, it all comes down to a powerful organ, the eye itself. They shape perspectives, reveal personalities, and can uncover any underlying diseases early such as diabetes. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Diana likes to play sport, bullet journaling, reading, watching horror & thriller films, or learning to craft new drinks like a barista.
