Dr. Cindy Phuong Nguyen
"Perhaps the eyes are the windows to our soul, but I'm positive that they are the reflection to our health & physical wellness." Dr. Cindy Nguyen is a genuine, caring and passionate Doctor of Optometry who loves what she does by providing patient’s clear vision and detecting health conditions by thoroughly examining patient's eyes. Dr. Nguyen believes in a personalized eye examination because each person has their own unique history, hence requiring different levels of eye care.
Dr. Nguyen started her academic training at San Jose State University where she graduated with Cum Laude for the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. With her passion in Optometry, Dr. Nguyen gained a spot in the national Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa, and obtained the Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University College of Optometry as part of the Inaugural Class of 2013. Dr. Nguyen practices full scope of optometry including comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fitting, diagnosis treatment and management of ocular diseases and systemic related eye conditions. Dr. Nguyen is glaucoma certified and is well versed with the latest optometric technologies that are offered here at Eye Focus Optometry.
Dr. Nguyen has participated in many community service projects and often volunteered in the local vision outreach programs such as the Gift for Sight and the Vision Van. Her goal is to reach out to the less fortunate and help others within the scope of her optometric vision training. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys outdoor activities and freestyle ballroom dancing. She also loves to create projects using her hands such as scrapbooking or painting.
Office Manager - Rhonda Ho

Like most first generation Asian Americans, Rhonda’s parents pressured her to take a career in the medical field. That being so, she graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Rhonda is also a certified clinical medical assistant. After acquiring some much needed work experience she found out she has quite the proficiency for management. Whether it’s staff scheduling or dealing with health insurances, she can do it all! All this hard work is to fund her hobbies such as, food tourism, traveling the world, and bubble tea! Rhonda also has a pet dog at home, whom she spoils to no end. Her long term goal is to be a domestic engineer to multiple dogs. All jokes aside she hopes to further her career as a manager in the medical field.

Truc Nguyen

An is a student intern at our office, whose currently attending San Jose State University in Business Analytics. Ann is proudly a part of Eye Focus Optometry’s office assistant team. Swimming and cooking creative recipes are her endless passions. And if you happen to hear Taylor Swift’s songs, that's her! She has been working with eye care for over a year and cannot emphasize more of how much clear vision means to us. If you are wondering where to get your fashionable optical glasses, you are in the right place. What you see matters and we are more than happy to give your eyes a new look!

Growing up in an underserved community, Truc finds an opportunity to work in the medical field is one of her most exceptional privileges. She believes "the happiest people are those who help others”. Despite the fact that she is working on attaining an accountant degree at Evergreen Valley College, Truc enjoys working at Eye focus Optometry where she has a chance to fulfilled her daily dose of happiness by helping others, her patients, her co-workers, while helping herself in personal and professional growth. In Truc spare time, she loves spending time with her family and explore new places.
Cami Kieu
Linh Hua

Cami embodies the belief that "we learn more from our failures than from our successes." This philosophy fuels her determination to transform challenging moments into valuable learning experiences. She believes that a fulfilling career hinges on aligning intellectual curiosity with a clear sense of purpose. Combining her educational background, which has equipped her with a solid understanding of scientific principles underlying health and eye care, with her hands-on skills as a certified medical assistant, Cami is eager to leverage her knowledge and contribute to patient care under the guidance of experienced optometrists. She envisions herself supporting diagnosis, assisting treatments, and ultimately playing a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care.

Linh is currently a junior at SJSU on the way pursuing her bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. Although she majors in engineering, Linh also has a strong passion in studying human’s eyes and eye diseases because she embraces the meaningful power of the eyes. Linh enjoys helping and talking to people and learning from their experiences that helps her become a better version of herself. In her free time, Linh loves to cook for her loved ones and sees them finished her food made feel blessed. She also likes morning jogging to jumpstart her day with excitement and energy. Additionally, Linh loves reading novels and spends hours getting lost into those fictional stories. Linh always believe that success is when she can find beauty and pride in whatever she is doing.
Thien Le
Diana Vo

Thien is a first generation Asian American, graduated from Silver Creek High School and currently attends San Jose State University. Growing up as an insecure person due to the language barrier, Thien develops self confident and becomes more decisive after she embraces her new role at Eye Focus Optometry as a team player. At Eye Focus Optometry, Thien tasks includes scheduling appointments to pretesting and helping patients with all their eye care services. She learns to overcome her obstacles and ultimately wanted to pursue a lifelong career in pharmaceutical science. In her spare time, Thien loves eating out and drinking milk tea with friends. She also loves to collect labubu.

"Another day, another slay", as Diana would motivate herself each day. Raised in San Jose, California, graduated from Silver Creek High School, Diana currently attends San Jose State University. She's delighted to join the team to learn and grow to be an optometrist in the future. Strengths that Diana carries include her determination and grit to finish tasks handed to her efficiently. If one would inquire why she chose optometry, it all comes down to a powerful organ, the eye itself. They shape perspectives, reveal personalities, and can uncover any underlying diseases early such as diabetes. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Diana likes to play sport, bullet journaling, reading, watching horror & thriller films, or learning to craft new drinks like a barista.

Kaitlyn Nguyen

Growing up surrounded by close family, Kaitlyn was taught the importance of treasuring loved ones. She is wholeheartedly grateful for her family as well as many others that she has met throughout her youth. She strongly believes in the importance of gratitude and empathy because those have contributed much to her choices in life. Kaitlyn is currently a student at Evergreen Community College and plans to transfer to San Jose State College next year pursuing a career in either counseling or education. She hopes for a career in which she is able to help others on a daily basis. In her free time she enjoys bothering her family, reading, and binge watching movies. Kaitlyn also want to explore other hobbies such as knitting and cooking.
